Welcome to W&F Moving LLC. By booking, confirming, or receiving any moving, packing, transportation, or related services (“Services”) from W&F Moving LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before scheduling service.
1. Service Agreement
W&F Moving LLC provides residential and commercial moving services based on the information provided by the Customer at the time of booking. Any changes to inventory, access points, distance, scope of work, or service requirements may affect the final price.
We reserve the right to refuse service in situations that present safety risks, illegal circumstances, or conditions outside the scope of our services.
2. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer agrees to:
- Provide accurate information about the move, including inventory, addresses, and special service needs.
- Ensure safe and reasonable access to all locations involved in the move.
- Properly pack and secure all items unless packing services have been purchased.
- Remove all personal, hazardous, or prohibited items prior to service.
- Be present or have an authorized representative present at all times during the move.
The Customer is responsible for protecting floors, walls, or property unless surface-protection services are requested.
3. Payment Terms
Payment is due as outlined during booking. W&F Moving LLC may require:
- A deposit to secure the scheduled date
- Payment in full at the completion of service
- Additional charges for extra labor, waiting time, materials, fuel, stairs, long carries, or specialty items
If payment is not made, W&F Moving LLC may withhold delivery of goods until payment is received.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Customers may cancel or reschedule services by contacting us directly.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the move may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
- Same-day cancellations may incur additional fees.
- The company reserves the right to reschedule due to weather, safety issues, or unforeseen circumstances.
5. Liability & Limitations
W&F Moving LLC is not liable for:
- Items packed by the Customer
- Pre-existing damage, structural weakness, or internal defects
- Damage resulting from improper packing, loading by third parties, or inadequate preparation
- Jewelry, money, documents, electronics, or other valuables not disclosed or packed securely
- Damage to furniture made of pressboard, particleboard, or other fragile materials
- Damage due to weather, road conditions, or situations outside our control
The Customer must inspect all items upon completion of service.
6. Claims Process
All claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing to W&F Moving LLC within 48 hours of service. Claims must include:
- A description of the item
- Photos of the damage
- Proof of value, if applicable
W&F Moving LLC will review claims and determine an appropriate resolution according to company policy and applicable regulations. Repairs or reimbursement may be limited to released-value protection unless additional coverage was purchased.
7. High-Value & Special Items
High-value, fragile, oversized, or specialty items (including safes, pianos, glass items, artwork, electronics, and antiques) must be disclosed before booking. Additional fees, equipment, or special handling may be required.
Failure to disclose such items may void liability coverage for those items.
8. Hazardous or Prohibited Items
W&F Moving LLC will not transport:
- Flammable or hazardous materials
- Firearms or ammunition
- Illegal substances
- Perishable food
- Live plants or pets
If prohibited items are discovered, the company may refuse service and charge applicable fees.
9. Storage Services
If the Company provides temporary storage:
- Items must be properly packed
- Storage fees apply and must be paid on time
- The Company is not responsible for damage caused by natural disasters, pests, mold, or conditions outside our control
10. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances
The Company is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Traffic or road conditions
- Weather
- Mechanical issues
- Customer-caused delays
- Circumstances beyond our control
Time estimates are approximate and not guaranteed.
11. Use of Website
By accessing the W&F Moving LLC website, you agree not to misuse the site or interfere with its functionality. Content on the website is the property of W&F Moving LLC and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which the services are performed. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with state and local regulations.
13. Updates to Terms
W&F Moving LLC may update or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
